Happy Holidays!

I hope that you’re having a wonderful holiday and that you’re surrounded by loved ones. It’s been quite a long year and I’ve never been busier in my entire life, but I’ve never had more to be grateful for.

Thank you to everyone that follows my blog, writes me emails, and leaves me comments. I love writing, especially when I know that I’m helping people, so thank you for making that possible. I want this blog to be the story of my process to becoming a physical therapist, but I also am so thankful that I am able to help you out along the way.

Second Year

New Projects in the Hallway!

I wrote a post about the group projects that we did as 1st year students. Ours got taken down and replaced by the current 1st year students, so I thought I’d share what the hallway looks like now!

The professor decided to have one less group this year, so my group’s board didn’t get taken down! However, it definitely looks worse than it did a year ago.

Second Year

The Beginning of the Midterm Season

We’ve learned so much in the past few weeks, and I love how everything is related to patient care. Everything from our first year is coming together and all of our classes seem to be more related to each other now. We learned special tests and ther-ex for the upper extremity, practiced our soft tissue techniques, and used cyrotherapy and thermotherapy techniques on each other.

Second Year

We’re 2nd Year PT Students!

It feels like just yesterday I was meeting all my classmates for the first time. Our first year flew by so quickly, and I can’t believe that I’m a 2nd year already.

I was chosen to be a Teaching Assistant for the new first year students! There are 4 TA’s total, and we’re all 2nd year students. I feel so proud to be able to chosen, and I’m excited to help out the new students.
